Getting' a Handle |

As we have preached in these pages several times before-before you start any project car, it's best to identify the intent of the car before you actually begin building or modifying it. Also, be sure to embrace the fact that while you may have preconceptions as to what you need, what you're thinking may not be the right way to go.
For FSC and Sparrow's Buick, we tried our best to follow the credo of "consultation before installation". So far the idea has worked out well for us.
When it came time to decide what we were going to do with the suspension there was not much discussion. Considering "Buck" was going to be driven on the street as well as see time on the track, the cruddy old used-up stock stuff had to go.
What we needed was something that was a bolt-in application that felt good to drive yet had the flexibility and adjustability to handle the extremes this car was going to see at the track. We found what we were looking for at a BMR Fabrication and QA1. |
